I think that the birds and the squirrel are in cahoots. This can’t be a coincidence.

Bound to miss.. Ziggy will slow down to observe the squirrel that the birds did not consider when marking the sidewalk with their trigger point.

They should find a parked car instead. It won’t be sad.
