Does he really expect people who are trying to escape a dangerous living situation for a better life to leave their children behind? What parent would do that? Now that they know they can be separated from their children, some may make the heartbreaking choice to come with them anyway believing if their children are taken from them, they will still be in a better situation than what they left behind.
Sessions, for quite literally decades, has had a history of racism and dishonesty. Can you imagine him as the Attorney General under ANY other president? (Okay, Nixon, but I’m talking about sane presidents for purposes of this comment…….)
