    There may be no use crying over it… but Peter may be able to think up some creative alternatives.

    I bet he could even, somehow, trade his own tears for some from Elliot.

    Yikes and then hand Elliot a rake and the lawnmower. He can spend weekends and the summer working off the value of the object. Worked for my brothers. They became very careful of others’ belongings and still are.

    “It’s coming out of your allowance and you’re grounded” are the first and last words of the conversation, as one-sided as they may be.
