I hope Joe is great at Charades (unlike me).

Pretty sure that’s still a violation, even if Joe guesses it. Marcy is sharing information she isn’t allowed to share.

Hmmm. What sounds like “Dana’s mother”?

I wish my doctors were allowed to share my info between them more freely.

On the “release information to” I always write ANYONE AND EVERYONE. You’ve already figured out I don’t have enough sense to feel proper shame.

Only way physicians can share information on a patient is related to medical care. Marcy is still not right. Just as I am experiencing medical and waiting on ultrasound see what comes next.

I thought this was only for medically relevant information, besides if I read the conversation correctly she basically said “go get my daughter” so telling the authorities would be perfectly in line with her request.

Believe me, HIPAA or no, a good story is a good story, including a few I’ve told on myself. “The names have been changed to protect the innocent.”

Seems to me that Dana’s mother has given her permission
