um… “baseball” includes “and bat”, Elizabeth

On the one hand I sympathize with Elizabeth who seems to be unable to get her parent to do what my parents did for me after I knocked badminton shuttlecocks on the roof. On the other hand, she just wrecked her badminton racket for no good reason.

Elly’s fault for not saying, “Bat and baseball.”

We’ve all been there – my personal favorite was attempting to shoot hoops with the lightweight rubber four-square ball. It always got stuck in the net.

She really wants to play badminton, so she doesn’t realize Mom just switched games on her!

She apparently hit three birdies towards the house, and you want her to do the same with a baseball?

I guess Canadians don’t play Wiffle Ball? A Wiffle ball would have worked in place of the shuttlecock!

Wasn’t aware that you need a bat for hitting a baseball, Elizabeth? More like Duh-lizabeth!

Three birdies were never enough, even if you didn’t hit them up on the roof.

Wiffle balls were way before this comic’s time.

She who had plenty of spare birdies in my old summertime neighborhood, was a very popular girl : )

Elly could have taught her how to make her own birdies from wine (or other) corks and craft feathers.
