The four legged soldiers were/are every bit as brave as the two. My dog Shilo and I salute you all and thank you for your bravery.

Today is not National BBQ day nor nation (fill in the blank) Sale Day, it is Memorial Day. Thanks to all you willingly walked into harms way and paid the ultimate price for serving your country and allowing us to enjoy today and every other.

Monday is Memorial day (actually). However, we should thank our veterans everyday.

Memorial Day isn’t just about honoring veterans, its honoring those who lost their lives. Veterans had the fortune of coming home. For us, that’s a reminder of when we come home we still have a responsibility to serve. It’s a continuation of service that honors our country and those who fell defending it. Pete Hegseth
