Retirement offers many benefits. The ability to nap on your own time is one. No need for caffeine shock to get past the next meeting, the next cold call, or the next ‘conference with the boss’, when all you really need is about a 15 min time out to rest your soul

I am a disabled US Army and Vietnam Veteran. I am now 75 years old. Several years ago, one of my VA medical providers told me, “If you wake up during the night and cannot go back to sleep, get up and do something. You are retired; so, you can take a nap during the day if you feel like it.”
