I don’t think Trump wants to start a war. He just wants to distract from all the negative news that’s coming out about him and those around him. Of course his statements can lead to actual war but that’s a small price to pay. It’s not like the president has to go and fight himself -there are lots of poor youth in the military to do that.
He talks tough but there are real consequences for pissing off another super power with action. Syria and Russia have to deal with this problem. We have NOTHING to gain from entering another war. I kinda suspect that this is why all of Trump’s skeletons are coming out of the closet…
Trump calls Putin daily to discuss strategy or to be told what to do next. Trump has pledged loyalty, just like he has forced his staff to do. Putin knows the limits he can push the GOP base to keep his puppet in a position of power. Watch the sanctions, do they really hurt Putin if he can count on Trump’s cabinet to devalue the dollar and increase the price of oil? That’s where the money is. How much stolen Russian wealth is being laundered behind the scenes by Wilbur Ross for his Russian oligarch buddies that he was in business with before becoming Commerce Secretary.
Putin has fractured alliances throughout the free world. Isolating countries, causing decent through propaganda and getting his puppets into power. We are not alone…
