A late friend of mine was once in a situation rather like Horace’s here. He had a general services electronics company, and he once did a job at Monkey Jungle, a south Florida tourist attraction. As he and his teen-aged employee (the son of a local security company owner, who was also one of my friend’s clients) were leaving after installing a CCTV camera system, he asked the Monkey Jungle entrance/exit booth cashier, “Can I get a receipt for him?” When she asked why, he replied, “Because I don’t want to be accused of stealing your livestock…” :-)
