    I sincerely hope no one was surprised by this whole thing. This is 2018, and data is king, queen, and dictator for life. Everyone wants me on FB, but I have zero interest.

    PS: I sincerely hope no one was INJURED by this whole thing…

    If the citizens of this country counted more than corporations, these things would not happen. The corporations are king now, and meat citizens are just open wallets and data points to be exploited. Until we get representatives to represent people not companies, these kinds of things will only get worse.

    The internet has become a daily part of our lives. There needs to be laws that prevent companies from mining personal information from the people who use their services. If they can’t use your personal history (credit card, license) to figure out your spending habits, why should they be allowed to monitor you 24/7 through an app?
