    Tigger,,,, There have been several good accords which came about, there remains one huge one which is the Palestinian question and it will not be settled because there is too much money involved. Remove the money, settle the dispute. This involves both sides.

    Why do cons always ignore the Camp David Accord between Israel and Egypt?

    In all honesty, the peace that has existed between Egypt and Israel has been legitimate, but I’m not seeing Egypt exerting any real political pressure on the neighboring region anytime soon.

    What was the key to the treaty, Carter’s singular success? Egypt was the first country in the region to recognize Israel’s right to exist. Does Palestinian leadership truly recognize Israel’s right to exist? Not nearly to the degree that Egypt has acknowledged.
