This modern cave painting is all slick commercialized trash anyway. Back in the Paleolithic, they really knew how to do it.

After a certain age, interest in a 13 week series is difficult to maintain, when one might not be around for the next season. Negative thinking, but true.

But trying to determine what prehistoric man did for entertainment is a fascinating hobby. Non-human or animal artifacts are mostly of the tool family but even there, these are stone and occasionally are of fossilized bone and wood. Materials that might have formed instruments have disintegrated. Too bad, because it leaves that major segment of their lives unexplored.

13 per season 4 seasons per year is 52 per year. Math is hard.

Hard to find caves large enough for an extended series run.

So I’m not the only one who noticed the trend. It’s real easy to lose interest with the new short seasons, but apparently that isn’t a problem for the producers. If it wasn’t for the serial recording feature on the DVR I would never catch the new episodes when a new “season” starts.

I hate the split seasons concept.
