Continuing with the geriatric deaf dog theme: I’m now able to make it to the kitchen without her realizing it. But, if I happen to warm up or cook something, her nose wakes her up.Tried an experiment the other day – placed a dog treat in front of her nose while she was snoozing. Her eyes “slammed” open immediately. I wondered if she thought it was a doggy dream at first.

Roscoe and Buster seem to get along pretty well if they are sleeping that close together. They have an understanding that only dogs can have.
