I posted this on Davies’ site. It fits nicely here too. One must ask why Europe basically does not have this problem. The answer should be applied here.
I can’t remember which one of those idiots said “these shootings are the price we pay for our freedom”. Which is an entirely idiotic statement!!!! It should have been “these shootings are the price that the government is willing to pay so that their donators will be willing to pay for their bought and paid for Congressional members”. To make that a little shorter… These shootings are the price we pay for homegrown terrorism!!!!!!!
If Gorrell visited a child who has been shot with an AR-15 and still felt the same way about weapons afterwards, then he’s beyond the boundary of being fit to own a gun.
Implementing gun regulations is not the same as banning guns. However, if the gun on the right is an AR-15 or similar weapon with a very large capacity, it should be banned.
One mass shooting in Tasmania and they enacted a reasonable law. Hunting still occurs; firearm homicide dropped 59% while use of other weapons did not increase. Canada managed to do it before any mass shootings. When we lived in Canada, a friend had a standard explanation for any culture shock: “You have to realize we are more civilized here.” Unfortunately, she was generally right.

The Dems need to campaign on this issue and assure us they will actually take immediate action.

What Republicans really mean: Hey, what’s a few dead kids, so long as I can have my guns.

I know my post is outrageous and unfair, but it seemed like the right place to post it.

And? You got a problem with that?

Gorrell perfectly illustrates the Trump Disciple belief that ANY effort to reduce gun violence is the same as total confiscation of all guns.
There is no middle ground nor any possibility for compromise — it’s either total confiscation of all guns or nothing.

Republicans think the statement, “Stop the murders of our school children,” is just another liberal whine to be ignored.
Boycott the NRA, ban the AR-15, don’t vote for right wingers.

Why would Gorrell support LaPierre’s lunacy!

Had no idea Gorrel was so disgusting! He’s added to my ‘bye’ list too, with Kelley.

Surprise! An (almost) accurate cartoon from Bob Gorrell.
It’s only knowledge of his past work that tells me that he thinks that what he has portrayed is something bad. (Hint: I don’t.)
