The GOP seems to spending too much time navigating via the rear-view mirror. World-wide, populations are becoming more diverse, robotics and automation are shrinking the requirements for manual labor in manufacturing, average temperature is rising due to use of fossil fuels, and water and air quality are degrading, yet the GOP is responding instead to the needs of an aging base (apparently longing for things as they used to be) that will not be around much longer. Can the GOP work for young diverse people after decades of only impeding legislation to satisfy their aging mostly white base that feared the future and change?
The democrats are going to see Trump win with DACA? Or the DACA crime scene is about to be blasted through by Trump? Does this toon make sense? I guess anything to distract from the GOP love of guns.
The Dems will not accept any deal that cuts back on chain migration. They see it as 1 million potential new Dem voters each year. 3-5 path to citizenship.
They don’t give a rat’s rump about the Dreamers. Trump offered them nearly triple the number AND citizenship instead of simple legalization.
