My wife has no interest in dead flowers.
My mom made a “no flowers” rule years ago. She prefers to garden so bulbs or things that can be planted are okay. She just hates to see nice flowers (usually expensive) die so quickly sitting in a vase.
Sadly, I had to quit getting my wife flowers. Her allergies showed up. Oh, well. There are always silk flowers.
