Exactly, this is emblematic of the racist attitudes of the rethuglicans and their supporters. The only African Americans they want to see are the ones who are shining their shoes or serving them. This is why we must relelect Obama so they learn that racism doesn;t pay!
Perhaps the results of one biannual election cycle is an insufficient basis on which to make judgments about whether this is a “liberal” nation or a “conservative” nation. Has our fundamental orientation changed so much since 2008, when “perhaps” we were a liberal nation? In 2012, will it mean another sea-change in our national character if Obama is reelected and the Dems regain the House?
The House of Representatives reflects whichever way the wind is blowing in the six months immediately preceeding the elections. By November 2012, who can say from which direction the prevailing winds will blow?

I’m mad. How dare they say our President should be a servant! They wouldn’t say that if he were white. When will the racism stop?

^ Give it a rest already. Neoconman comments aren’t the most clever in the world, but at least his persona is used sparingly.
