This is my dachshund to a T. She hates getting her paws wet on the morning dew. I have to hold an umbrella over here when it’s raining.
Back when I had a doxie, he would go out the dogdoor, but not into the rain. So, piles on the door mat. I finally put up a patio cover, so he would “spread it around”. Worked surprisingly well.
Drabble: “Hmmm, why is my back suddenly warm? …. WALLY!?!”
Gonna be tough to do his business that way.
