It still amazes me how centrist and right of center Democrats can so easily ignore the corruption of their supported candidates while calling out the opposition candidate for the exact same corruption.
.
Fun fact: Net neutrality was in jeopardy during the Obama Administration just as it is now. Verizon crony and net neutrality opponent Ajit Pai was nominated to the FCC by President Obama.
Steven Law, the president of the super PAC aligned with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, blamed Bannon for Jones’ victory.
“This is a brutal reminder that candidate quality matters regardless of where you are running,” Law said in a statement. “Not only did Steve Bannon cost us a critical Senate seat in one of the most Republican states in the country, but he also dragged the President of the United States into his fiasco.”
Rall ticks me off as often as amuses and provokes thought these days. That said, it is interesting what we choose to focus our outrage on, isn’t it? Not that ass grabbing isn’t terrible, but we do seem more outraged about it than war, don’t we?
Jesus Christ. You sure have a hard on for HRC. She was pretty clear that she voted to support the war only as a last resort. It was Dubya who went in guns a-blazin’. Quit repeating the RW/Russian BS.
@Ted Rall…you never even tried to refute Old Coal’s facts. The quote is real. The recorded votes are real. You are projecting onto Clinton your accurate assessment of the stupidity of the Iraq invasion. There were many voices in the run up to that idiotic war. Hillary Clinton didn’t cover herself in glory, but she was one of many. The big difference has been the right wing media propaganda campaign against her and her husband that has gone on for decades.
But, hey, Ted draw what you want, just don’t claim arguments counter to your narrow views are the same as being counter factual.
