Quite right! It’s always confused me (well, ever since I actually heard the whole Messiah) why we sing this decidedly Easter-focused song exclusively at Christmas.
For that matter, why is Messiah traditionally done around Christmas and not the rest of the year, when only a small portion is Christmas-themed?
