Unfortunately the world isn’t that kind. It’s littered with the lawsuits of people who sent someone an idea and when that same idea was used and they didn’t receive any credit, they sued. Writers, publishers, and even TV/Movie studios have been accused of stealing someones idea after it was submitted but not accepted or responded too. That’s why many have people going through mail/email looking for unsolicited ideas and keeping them from getting to anyone in a decision making or creative capacity. They want a barrier between unsolicited ideas and the creators to make defending said lawsuits easier for them to win.
If he’s smart he doesn’t read the comments, just to avoid unsolicited suggestions. For many creators, suggestions like yours become something they won’t ever do to avoid looking like they stole someone else’s idea.
