When I was little, parking meters used to scare me, too. And not because they looked like they had a face. Something about the shape just freaked me out and the sound they made when you put in the money. I even had a bad dream about them coming to life.

That meter looks a lot like Mr. Adams’ car did a few days ago. Must have been an automotive design trend back then.
