I feel like Elliot sometimes when I hang my coat on a lamp… WITH hanger.

Not for nothin, but it makes a great gift for Dad.

Yeah right. Our fathers died nearly 23 and over 13 years ago – and none of them peaceful. Stop it already! You’ve just brought tears to my eyes – and not happy ones.

Tony, you used to tell us you always read these posts, even after you stopped commenting here,

    or posting the question yourself.

Well, if you do…. please know that after almost a week of relentless spam in lieu of a real question,

I’ve lost any interest I ever had in buying that book.

I know your Facebook and Twitter demographic might skew a bit younger than here…

and maybe you’re pitching to them.

But not only would anyone be turned off by days of pushing product instead of showing interest,

it makes me feel like you no longer want to communicate with your loyal readers on GoComics,

just because we’re mostly older, and unlikely to still have living parents…

and I admit, we probably buy fewer books..

What say we stop reposting the QOTD here, leave it on FB, and comments directed to Tony, post those on FB instead? (Can you tell I don’t do the FB thing? If Tony has stopped bringing us the QOTD, if he has stopped reading the comments here, if he has stopped caring what GC readers think, it is pointless to address him in this forum. If we used our brains instead of our hearts, we wouldn’t expect a reply.

    @ Tony:

Well, my father passed away back in 1966, so that wouldn’t work for me. What would work, however, is my asking…

    Today’s “Daddy’s Home” Question:

    If not there, then where?
