    As I’ve noted repeatedly:

The RNC and the DNC are either private organizations that can nominate whomever, however they want, and can change their rules however they want.

    Or they are government organizations.

Right now, they are considered private. The DNC didn’t have to let Bernie run.

And the RNC didn’t have to let Trump run.

A private organization can allocate their money any way it wants, to whom they want. No democratic rules are required. They can run it as a feudalistic kingdom (as long as no other laws are broken.)

The DNC and RNC were still having old men in smoke filled rooms decide the candidates until the mess that was the 1968 Democratic National Convention.

Now with the all the trappings of election and the caucus systems, there is a better argument that the major parties are part of the government and should be changed to reflect that obvious fact.

    But to what?

    http://www.politicususa.com/2017/11/03/claim-clinton-rigged-democratic-primary-falls-full-memo-published.html

It turns out that Hillary Clinton didn’t rig the Democratic primary because the joint fundraising agreement between Clinton and the DNC only applied to the general election.

NBC News published the full Clinton-DNC fundraising agreement memo, and it contains a paragraph that destroys the conspiracy theory that Clinton rigged the primary, “Nothing in this agreement shall be construed to violate the DNC’s obligation of impartiality and neutrality through the Nominating process. All activities performed under this agreement will be focused exclusively on preparations for the General Election and not the Democratic Primary.”

Think how much more relevant material Lester would have if he ever took a critical look at those actually in power. Is Lester an editorial cartoonist? Or is he simply a spokesman for the political right?

Friday news cycle: Trump leaves for Asia, Donna Brazile former chair of one of only two US political parties says Obama left party $24million in debt and Hillary bought the Democratic party by rigging nomination. You’re free to pick a story, draw your own cartoon. As am I. But I hope you like working Saturdays…..https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/11/02/clinton-brazile-hacks-2016-215774

With our current political system, it’s hard to tell if the things that they agree on are any better for “We the People” that the things they disagree on. Who decided that the power hungry with dubious ethics, make the best leaders?

Mr. Lester: 1) Are you complaining that you’re “working” on Saturday? 2) Does it matter that Sanders wasn’t ( and still isn’t ) a member of the Democratic Party?

According to the drawing, Hillary is one heck of a politician being in two places at one time .. above and below board simultaneously. ..Very impressive.

Then Trump sold the whole henhouse to Putin. Clinton gave money to the DNC and won more votes in the primary. Trump got help from Putin, most likely with the assistance of his campaign and won less votes in the election. But your funny make-em-up must prove something this time for double sure. Every time the Clinton make-em-up starts, there is a Republican in big trouble.
