    Boric acid was, at that time, the most common antibacterial component in eye washes. She probably used it as millions around her did too.

    Art is an expression of the zeitgeist; statues and portraits reflect the cultural norms of the artist, even when depicting other societies, present or ancient.

    Neither the Statue of Liberty nor Michaelangelo’s “David” was a product of ancient Greece, so those are definitely not examples of Greek art.
