Marijuana may be the latest, but I think there are always things that adults might see as hypocritical when applied to their children. Oddly enough, marijuana is one where the long term impacts seem highly related to when people start – older being better. So it may not be hypocritical to say that kids shouldn’t use it – but for adults it is safer.
Marijuana is LESS dangerous than alcohol. Never seen a stoner get aggressive and start a fight, or a war, Intentionally anyway. Medically, it’s way safer for your liver and other critical organs. Lungs could be an exception, although not from my experience.

My son is 35 and I know he smokes Marijuana, I’m ok with that
He doesn’t drink, I’m more than ok with that because it has been a problem for some members of our family
