My dad and I watched baseball, Met’s and Yankee’s. Plus football, Jet’s and Dallas Cowboys. For basketball it was the Knicks (can you see most are NY based. LOL) I would sit up on the stairs and tease my dad with "so dad who’s winning Boston. Neither of us were a Boston fan but met Larry Bird at Rolls Royce and he is so nice. Same with Joe Namath, he got his Jaguar fixed by the company my dad worked for. Plus my dad did some additional work. He drove it home and crabbed all the way. Well the best part was when Joe Namath came to pick it up. Every kid in the neighbor came over to say hello!I saw him a couple more times when I went into work with my dad.
Better be careful … they might start singing the NFL theme song! Dun dun dun Duhhh. Bom, Bom Bom! Baditta ditta Dit Dah, Bom Bom Bom! Dadditita DAH! Or worse, they might start watching college football too!
