The media overstates every weather event, climate change, etc. etc. making everything a huge crisis. Thus impressionable youth sees the end of the world around every corner. Part of the cause of their high suicide rate.
As someone who lives in Hurricane land, the season is over until June 1st. Season runs from June to Nov.
