It’s wonderful how people can employ a double standard and find absolutely nothing wrong with it. As a feminist I have spent my entire life in awe of what falls out of the mouth of people who can employ a double standard at any level and not notice the Injustice of what they are saying or the irony of it. And I do mean on any and every level. Politically this is just one more gigantic double standard.
“Do as I say, not as I do” is not just Trump, but the digression of the Republican Party since “The Acting President”- Reagan. But this current situation with Trump truly is deplorable.
Children and the mentally ‘immature’ are fine with things as long as they’re the ones doing it – but woe betide the “other” when they attempt the same thing. And if you ask, “Why”, they will patiently explain, “Because!” American political discourse from the Right more and more resembles a “cranky three year-old” in need of a nap!
Democrat rules don’t apply to Republicans, they are graded on the curve, and as the unethical party, the republicans need more exceptions to what they are doing. Like how they need the electoral college to win elections. Or how they need to gerrymander states to stay in power. They can’t actually win on their idea, or be as ethical as Democrats.
As Crooked Donny carped about the time Obama spent on the golf course-then spent a lot more himself. Like how the GOP complained about how Dems pushed through bills, and Supreme Court appointees without opportunity for oversight and ran through their own. Trump personal spending Trumps Obama’s. It’s unfair to be held to a higher standard because you have standards compared to people who don’t care about consistency or ethics.Like being the babyface (wrestling term) getting whaled on by the heel.

Let us grill Roger Stone, Trump’s good friend, about how he knew in advance about Russia’s attack on our electoral system.
