The racist, white nationalist, misogynistic bigot finally got thoroughly rejected by an object of his ire – though, in truth, it was mostly the players and not the owners and coaches who finally told Donnie to ‘butt out’! We might want to keep an eye on Goodell, however, because, while he is the “face” of the N.F.L., he serves ‘at the pleasure of the owners’ who, for the most part, support and condone the racist bigotry espoused by Donnie (they must, for they’ve NEVER spoken out against it – and ‘silence’ must always be construed as acquiescence!)
Next thing you know he’ll be attacking Republicans and trying to kick out people who haven’t committed crimes, not build a wall and work to take away people’s heath care.
I can’t believe Trump wants to see the NFL ease up on the rules against hard hits in the games….oh wait a minute yes I can. He doesn’t give a damn about the players,he just wants to use them to excite his base of mouth breathers.
Trump tweeted that players who don’t stand for the National Anthem don’t respect the Country. Of course, Trump and his “administration” REALLY don’t respect the Country.
The irony of President Trump’s tweet is not lost when you consider a tweet from businessman Trump four years ago. At the time, he was blasting then-President Obama who said he’d change the name of the Washington Redskins if he were the team’s owner because the name is offensive to some Native Americans:
“President should not be telling the Washington Redskins to change their name-our country has far bigger problems! FOCUS on them, not nonsense,” Trump tweeted on October 8, 2013.
And still not a flippin’ word from the clown squatting in the Oval Office about the apocalypse that our fellow citizens in Puerto Rico are facing. Can’t even a single staffer get it together enough to get him to show the slightest glimmer of competency? Actual care would be too much to ask.
He’s probably still angry that football players caused him to have a bankruptcy way back when he bought that football team and Football League. I’m getting old and my memory is hazy but I’m pretty sure he has some pretty bad feelings about losing some of his reputation as a businessman by the team and that league going bankrupt. Maybe I’ll go research it tonight. But I’ll bet that’s a big part of what driving this new Feud.

What strikes me is that the players are more intelligent and articulate than the president.
