What recognizing reality? All countries put themselves first.

Don’t you think everybody had better start putting the whole world first? If we don’t start taking care of the world it won’t be there to take care of us.

Drumpf believes that “All Leaders should put their own country first”, but OUR first is FIRSTIER then THEIR first!

Hey Trump! Want to put America first? Manufacture your stuff here instead of in China. Lead by example.

George Orwell wrote in “Animal Farm” that all ‘animals are equal – but some are more equal than others! While I’m quite sure that Donnie has NEVER read Orwell, he follows the Orwellian philosophies of “Newspeak” quite closely!

Nationalistic right wingers are dividing the world.

I have yet to see a single convincing argument from the left as to why we should not place the interests of our own nation and citizens ahead of the those of any other nation.

You people don’t hate the idea. In fact, you like the idea. You just hate the source, and are willing to sacrifice the good our our nation on the alter of your hatred.

Didn’t the 20th century show that the U.S. must at times join with other nations to work together on common problems?

@Andrew Litkowiak: It IS in the best interests of the United States AND its citizens to take steps to protect the environment of the planet no matter the attitude of any other nation. Even if that means changing how we use resources. Because if we don’t, we won’t have an Earth available to even have a United States.

I don’t see most America Firsters willing to acknowledge that fact. They would rather have their V-12 Dodge dually diesels polluting the air while they’re spending two hours shopping at Y’all-Mart. They don’t give a rats rear end that they’re killing their own children.
