If you live in a situation where you would have to keep your dog chained up all day, then think twice about acquiring one. It really isn’t fair to them.
A metal post and chain can conduct electricity. Never leave a dog out during lightning. My brother in law lost a very productive stud due to that stupidity.

If you don’t want your dog indoors with you, please just get a goldfish for a pet!
