    How about Woodstock riding on Snoopy’s head? That seems safer… unless you come across a low tree branch.

    I’m glad Snoopy is with him to make sure he does not hurt himself too much. Woodstock is always bonking his head. That’s what we love about Woodstock!

    Do you mean those zombies wandering around with their faces in phones? They are particularly common around shopping malls.

    I love how we only see Woodstock flying upside down!

    This particular strip confused me as a kid and, frankly, it still does. Did Woodstock stop walking to fly up at the last second and hit the pole in the final panel? Seemed like the joke was supposed to be he walked into the pole, showing that walking wasn’t any safer for him than flying. Weird.

    Inverted flight requires the pilot to realize that The Artificial Horizon, Directional Gyro, and Turn Coordinator are all gyro instruments, and can get confused or at least confuse the pilot.

    @Snoopy_Fan

    We have a light rail system that runs on electricity, But I do love those old fashioned steam trains. What I love about going on a train is looking at the scenery from the windows.

    We have started Secret Santa at my work. Well we’ve only pulled names out of an envelope so far. I’m the only one who’s name was not there. I know I’m being selfish but I’d much rather donate money to a charity. To my embarrassment, I’m the only person not participating. The reason I didn’t want to take part is because I don’t want a present off anybody (If I was involved, I would receive a present too) I have a lot of stuff already and I think it’s basically a waste of money. Especially if the “recipient” dislikes the present. I was being gently persuaded to participate but it’s just not my thing.

    Sorry about all this. I’ve been feeling a bit down about it. But today, I bought a box of Christmas cards and I’m going to give one each to everybody. So I’m not a total “grouch”

    I saw another event on Facebook which is another Christmas Market being held on 24th November until Christmas Eve. I’m thinking about going to that one as well. Guess what the fun bit will be? I’ll have to take TWO trains to get there! Can’t wait. Haha. I really do like trains.

    I’m dedicating my blood donation to Number Six (He recently turned 50) Don’t worry, another one will be dedicated to you soon.

    I hope you have a lovely weekend. Take care!

    Hi, Number Three!!!!

    I have participated in Secret Santa in the past but I usually don’t anymore, for much the same reasons as you. As much as I appreciate the thought that goes into someone buying me a present (and I sincerely do), the holidays are expensive and stressful enough without having to visit the store and buying another present, for both the giver AND the recipient. And, like you, the gift limit is usually rather small which only buys a trinket, ornament, or small figurine, which I really don’t need. In addition, I am already spending money during the holidays, some for charity work, and I am incredibly busy. As much as I appreciate the spirit and intent of Secret Santa, if asked I will respectfully decline. You should not feel guilty for not participating because you simply won’t receive a present if you don’t give one. Here at my workplace, I am not the only one who doesn’t participate. So please don’t feel bad. Your Christmas cards are enough.

    Yay!!! Another Christmas Market! Hope your train rides are really fun for you!

    Now see there? You don’t have to give to a Secret Santa to prove you’re a generous person. You regularly give the gift of life to others, and to total strangers at that. I’m sure Number Six appreciates your dedications, as do I. Thanks for all the blood you give.

    My Dad’s birthday is today (Nov 11). He is 91 years old. Hard to believe. I’m taking him and Mom out to dinner tonight to celebrate. My sister and brothers are going to join us, I think. I’m looking forward to a great time.

    I hope you have a lovely weekend as well. God bless!

    xxx
