To update the famous quote by Walt Kelley (we have seen the enemy and he is us), it strikes me that we are all Donald Trump. By that, I mean that Trump is a manifestation of the general disfunction of the American electorate, and of American politics on general. We created Trump, and maybe he is just what we needed. God help us.
