    Has anyone pointed out that, unless the station will be in the shadow of the moon, the eclipse is not going to happen on the station? (I know, it’s just a comic strip.)

    If the timing works out, from their orbit they might see the moon’s shadow move across the surface of the earth. That would be interesting.

    It was the last full eclipse that was seen from the US. Eclipses happen around the world a lot oftener than every 99 years.
