    if it were a cheque, you’d still have trouble reading the grandparents’ cursive (maybe even how they write out the digits)

    My 20 year old grandson who is in college can’t write in cursive but sure likes the money.

    I was using cursive at age eight but I never had a birthday card with that much money in it!

    I can write cursive, but no one including me, can read it. Effective tremor makes life far more difficult than it seems it would.
