Summer through December? Hey, I’m all for that! I LOVE summer! And it’s going much too fast! Nearly the end of July already! Really? Where did June and July go? How did they fly by so fast?

I thought I had good news about Mark yesterday, but I have better news today. The news I’ve been waiting for WEEKS to share. He is out of the hospital now! Mary and I thought when we saw him on Monday he looked good enough to leave the hospital and go home, but we sure did not expect him to leave the hospital the very next day! He isn’t home yet – he’s in a nursing home for more rehab, but it’s great progress. And the nursing home is about 12 miles closer to my house than the hospital is and no city traffic. It’s in a small village. So it will be much easier for me to go and see him now. I expect that soon I will be able to deliver the ultimate good news that he’s home. That should even make the trolls happy because then they won’t be bothered by my comments any more. Well, at least not until I find something else to drivel about (smile).

Hooray!!! That is the best news! Woo hoo!

Now don’t come after me with pitchforks, but I don’t like summer! Yeah you read that right, I love winter!

I don’t process heat very well and we’ve got 90 degree weather coming up next week. I’m in bed now with the windows open, the ceiling fan on and the AC on too, and I’m still hot. Main reason we had to move from Vegas. Doctor told Dale to get me outta there!

Good morning and happy Hump Day, Graham Crackers. Paul and I are going to the cabin, so I will be incommunicado until Tuesday morning unless the app on my so-called smart phone decides to cooperate.
