Falling on head is not good for cleverness!!

But those ropes are making a very good attempt!

Littler-known fact: Houdini was electrocuted in the bath when his toaster oven fell in. True. Really. More or less.

Gahan Wilson worked on a similar theme in his Nuts comic strip series, with the kid in the last panel thinking, “I’m definitely not going to call for my mother.” (While his dog sniffs him.)

Now this has been food for thought.

Oh for god’s sake, Houdini died from appendicitis!

Mom may have to wait more than a second… perhaps a forth or fifth attempt, but even that is optimistic.

Why is everybody talking about Houdini’s death?

It’s a good thing that Hobbes isn’t a Homovore – as Calvin looks mighty tasty all tied up like that and unable to run!

I have to wonder sometimes if some of these fact-challenged posters you see in every message board everywhere aren’t just trying to get a reaction (“triggered!!”). That said, I heard Houdini died on re-entry after escaping earth’s gravity. I heard that from the guy who believes the earth is flat and he’s building a rocket from spare parts to jump over a ghost town out west in order to prove it. Alternate facts, baby!!

This is a troll technique I think @Be This Guy is trying out—I suspect smilingly. State an obvious fallacy, and gather the responses. Fun!

Harry was to take a punch in the stomach. Problem was the guy hit him before Harry had a chance to prepare for the blow.

I remember seeing a movie about Harry and Tony Curtice played the part!
