    Yeah, I don’t think anybody sold “Grit” just once. It was really pushed in my Cub Scout group, so one failure meant nothing more than a valuable experience. Actually, it was a pretty interesting paper in those years (circa early 60s). It exists today as primarily a farming magazine.

    “Wuxtra” was a play on “Extra” with a little newspapery-sales-dialect added. “Extry” was too common.
