    Me I’m sorry all I don’t care for sports. I rather read. I have relatives when we visited would be watching games. Give me a nice book to read anytime. Val’s in one way like my sister she watches football with her hubby. What’s sad too I can’t have hot chocolate I had no choice my body turned against me I had to give it up. No hot chocolate at all. Occasionally not dark but light chocolate then I have to wait days or a week until the affects wears off. I don’t drink regular tea either caffeen.

    I’m with Kab- no sports for me… plenty of books and my TiVo! That said, I fired off an email to my son in Fort Worth last night, who responded that he’ll probably take the family to one of the series games (they have 2 kids).

    And I love all the baking. I’m taking some of my breakfast bars with me to today’s event, and I’ll take one copy of my recipe (but I’ll share it with whoever wants it by email, and my healthy pizza recipe too- healthy food can be yummy!)

    When I first moved to NC, my wife’s aunt asked us to Thanksgiving dinner at 6 PM. I had no idea that my wife’s uncle would be starving by 3. The bird was abone. Oh well, McDonald’s opened about that time anyway.

    Please, don’t forget the birthday of the USMC on November 10th. While I may disagree with my government on things, I’ll never turn my back on my fellow Marines and other servicemen. Semper Fidelis.

    Thanks for your service John. I never had family who served (just worked out that way) but I appreciate! I just passed on the recipe to others who sampled it today on the Baronial Face book page - I had promised. Need to show my friends that healthy can be YUMMY!

    @Kab Buch, no hot chocolate? That’s a shame! Are you allowed hot chocolate without the chocolate? Does that make any sense?

    I can think of two other possibilities for cold weather:

    Eggnog - I think it’s made with raw eggs and buttermilk and doubtless a few other things;

    Mulled wine - made with red wine and various spices.

    I have a good recipe for extremely virtuous (i.e. healthy) oatmeal raisin muffins. If anyone wants it, tell me and I will post it.
