WHERE, OH WHERE, CAN YOU FIND A SPOT LIKE THIS NOW? YOU ARE MOST LIKELY HIP TO HIP IN PEOPLE, NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO. THE SECRET PLACES OF MY YOUTH ARE ALL PAVED OVER WITH MINI-MALLS.

There are a few places left. Sometimes, it simply migrates a little upstream.

I’m pleased you folks liked the little setting for this one. While it mainly came out of my head, I was thinking the hike we made a couple of years ago up to Crabtree Falls in Nelson County, VA. It took about an hour and a half to get up there, with lots of switchbacks. Along the way, one of the sections of the waterfall looks a little like that in the drawing.

Comic Strip Nation and Comic Kingdom at your local newspaper have already posted a panel for MONDAY, October 11. In today’s panel, the Plugger learns that the repairs for his car will cost more than the car is worth. I won’t post a link for either list of comics because, when you do post a link, someone comes along and removes all of the posts which tell folks how to go about finding the comics which have gone missing at Go Comics.

In case your local newspaper does not offer Comic Kingdom, some newspapers which DO offer Comic Kingdom are: The Denver Post Wisconsin Journal Sentinel Online Seattle Post-Intelligencer
