It isn’t just the Koreans who will suffer from the mutual idiocy of Trump and Kim. Most in the US don’t understand enough geography to see why the Japanese are so nervous about North Korean missiles. The Japanese people should also question to what end their government is being strong-armed by Washington (which, by sheer numbers of military installations, is still a foreign occupational force in their country) into abandoning their functional pacifist constitution and rushing headlong into militarism, thus further provoking the unstable Kim Jong-un.
