    As a kid, I was smart enough not to hang around my house on a Saturday or in the summer. I got out of the house and away, as quickly, as possible. I also never complained that there wasn’t anything to do…

    My mother couldn’t stand the idea of someone being “idle” and could think up a million “chores” to occupy my time. " Idle hands are the devil’s workshop " she used to say, so as a teenager, if I wanted to be idle, I did it somewhere else !
