Reminds me of a road trip that my wife and I took about 40 years ago. We were traveling through rural Alabama and stopped at an independent type restaurant on a back country two lane road, for lunch. There were just a few customers in there and after we got ourfood the waitress who looked like Flo.You know the waitress from the old TV show Mel’s Diner. She began working her way around all the booths swatting flies with a fly swatter. Every time she got one she would proudly exclaim “GOT IM”. When she got to our table she leaned her body across out table and reached out and swatted a big fly that was on the window and smiled proudly and said " got another-un". She then continued her hunt to the rest of the tables. No one; not the cashier, cook or manager seemed to notice.
