The rebels don’t have an air force to drop chemical weapons with. Then there is the radar and satellite tracking of the planes from takeoff, to bomb runs, to landing.
We condemn “barrel bombs” because they can be made for a couple hundred bucks, while our cruise missiles, at $1.3 million each, do about the same amount of damage and require a billion dollar plus vessel to get them to the drop site. Where they then may, or may not, hit the actual target we’re aiming for. Maybe DOD should start buying from Amazon or COSTCO.
I’m going to go blow up your shed out back, now that I’m going to police the world. If you drop more gas, I’ll be back for the garage, unless my poll numbers are high enough.

We should have gotten rid of Assad back when he used the chemical weapons of Agent Orange in Viet Nam in the 70’s.

Nothin’ to see here, Mr. police. You can just cruise on by. (But I do have an airport runway I was planning to repave.)

@ Fishdog, ISIS, terrorism, and the refugee crisis IS the result of doing something, namely invading Iraq and destabilizing the Middle East.
