Everyone is in shock with their mouths hanging open at the enormity of the disaster going on.Either that or only waiting for him to self-destruct at any moment.Surprized that he din’t spontaneously combust after giving an ultimatum to congress, and congress shuffling away.
Rall, there are multiple protests going on in various states, like the ones in Denver that happened every couple of weeks from February up until a few days ago over the healthcare, or the massive protests against the confirmation of DeVos (unsuccessful as those protests were, given the De Vos bribes).
tRump is shielded by the Republican use of him as figurehead and distraction; so people are targeting the Republicans.
You seem to think that your awareness of reality defines reality. Maybe you shouldn’t do that, and should just assume you don’t know yet — and go LOOK.
Anyway, still wondering how happy you are about demonizing Clinton to help elect tRump. I’m still not willing to let you forget that you and your like own this dam’ regime.https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-gave-cia-power-to-launch-drone-strikes-1489444374
Rall, for pity’s sake. Protests were practically constant from November 15 through the middle of last month. People were protesting in Nashville when Trump showed up a short time ago. There’s a pro science march all across the country April 22, and also a sick out for everyone planned for May first, and 340,000 have already signed on to that.
That’s strange. The Facebook commenters are frequently ranting about how left-wing protestors are continually rioting in the streets and causing personal property damage. So… which is it? No protests at all? Or protests out of all control? The truth is usually somewhere in the middle. So… peaceful protests ongoing, I’d guess.
Rall doesn’t understand the rhythm of opposition. Sometimes big street protests are important, sometimes going to town halls is important. Sometimes it’s important to react to something specific, such as the airport protests when the EO on travel came out. Sometimes a more general protest works; stay tuned for April 22. There are many tools, and people will probably use those that are appropriate at the time. Right now the Democrats in Congress are keeping the heat on, and that’s good; it wasn’t entirely to be expected. I think the big protests and the town halls probably helped to encourage them. This situation is going to continue to develop, probably in unexpected ways, and people will react to what develops.
People get tired of daily protest, like Occupy Now. Did you not notice that the republican repeal of Obamacare failed because protesters threatened to never vote for their politician again?
A pro-Trump protest just attacked anti-Trump protesters in Huntington Beach, Anti-Trump protesters clashed with pro-Trump group in Phily, Political rallies, Inauguration protests, the Women’s March, Airport Protests during the Muslim ban, bodega protests, the Feb 4th protests, the Feb 11th protests, Day without Immigrants, Resist Trump Tuesdays, Not My Presidents Day, United Voices Rally, a Day without Women. To name a few… They are out there if you really wanted to find protests against Trump.
Let’s hope it doesn’t take Trump starting a major war somewhere (because, let’s face it: that is often what deeply unpopular Presidents do) for Ted to finally acknowledge that he was complicit in letting the far, far worse of two candidates become President.

And maybe some of Putin’s techniques were used to deploy some of the ‘rioters’.

I think that Ted is just trying to point out the great American apathy when it comes to politics.

Wow Rall what planet do you live on? It’s not Earth.

It’s also called saving your powder! Constant protest leads to resistance, which leads to “what’s the use?”

Weren’t you watching during the recess? Congressman got swarmed, and it’s gonna happen again in April.

Hey, Ted—keep a watch for 4/15 tax day, and 4/22 earth day/march for science.

Ted got this one right (or left, depending on your political leanings).

In today’s world, there is no Right or Wrong. There is only Right and Left, and no matter what side you are on, the “other side” is always wrong.
