6 years of doubling every 18 months means current computers and software doubled 4 times, making them 16 times more powerful than when you bought that thing and the software now requires as such. That thing is lucky it doesn’t burst into flames if you try to install a newer version of Office on it.

Had to go to tech. Appears hard drive crashed. My lap top is 2 to 3 years old. Cheaper for now to have repaired which the tech did. Saved everything on jump drive. Later in the year I will have to buy updated lap top.
