Every day, yet another secret meeting is fessed up to by this Administration. And then they will, yet again, point to some PUBLIC function where a Democrat (who didn’t lie under oath and swear they never heard of Russia, and who didn’t call for Russia to hack the RNC, and who didn’t claim that NOBODY had any contacts with Russia or Russians) ate a bagel with a Russian present – and they’ll claim that’s “Just the same”.

And still, the entire Republican Party seems determined to pretend none of this is happening.

Look, there are 4 possibilities here:

1.Trump was blustering with his usual lies and claims, there was no wiretapping, and no evidence. In addition, he may have been trying to draw attention away from the investigation into his Russian ties.

2.There was a wiretapping, which was done legally by Obama, who obtained a warrent. In this case, Trump just leaked the existence of a classified document without first consulting his advisors of the possible repercussions of this. In addition. In adittion, there was enough evidence for Obama to convince a federal judge that a covert investigation was necessary, probably related to Trump involvement in the Russian Hacking.

3.Obama illegally wiretapped Trump tower, without obtaining a warrant. In this case, rather than pursuing legal action through the proper channels,, Trump instead chose to make stupid threats on Twitter to satisfy his own ego, while meanwhile damaging his own case.

4.There was no wiretapping. However, some undiagnosed mental condition has resulted in incredible paranoia in Trump, causing him to believe he’s being spied on and conspired against without any proof or evidence.

Possibility 1: Trump is an unstable, blustering idiot who may be trying to hide something.

Possibility 2:Trump has dangerous foreign ties, to the point of needing a federal wiretap on Trump Tower.

Possibility 3: Trump is a moron who just blew open a major scandal, in the process weakening any prosecution against ex-president Obama.

Option 4:Trump is deluded and unstable, as well as being unable to differentiate between reality and imaginings.

no matter how you look at it, Trump certainly isn’t fit to serve as America’s president.

Unless Trump is looking in a mirror, I think he’s got Trump’s comb over going to his right (which would be appropriate) instead of his left. Or maybe he’s flipped his wig?

Wa’al you know, Trump is to be taken seriously but not literally.

    .

What that means is that Trump lies as easily and as naturally as people talk about their baseball team.

At a recent photo op, a reporter got in a question about Russia. Trump’s response"

“I haven’t called Russia in ten years.”

“We have as president a man who is erratic, vindictive, volatile, obsessive, a chronic liar, and prone to believe in conspiracy theories,” said conservative commentator Peter Wehner, who was the top policy strategist in George W. Bush’s White House. “And you can count on the fact that there will be more to come, since when people like Donald Trump gain power they become less, not more, restrained.”

Trump’s ties go all the way to the Kremlin, and we can all see it. No matter how much Republicans who are complicit in the Russian plot try to say we can’t see it. How many more cabinet members will be found to have ties? How many Republicans senators have ties to Russia and don’t want this investigation because they will be found out as well?
