The secret is to be firm, not jerks like “Teabaggers”, and work for the good of the country, not like Donnie Dumpster’s brand. That’s a challenge considering the audience out there.
Most Democratic politicians would willingly lie down in front of the Republican freight train, while “The Establishment” kept their eyes on how it profited them. Time to start over from the bottom, and promote decent people at all levels, not more of the weasely neoliberals.
In case nobody noticed, neither Tom Perez nor Keith Ellison are neoliberal establishment people. Perez is from my district, so I have been acquainted with his views since he started. In fact, in his first run for office here, he came by my door to present his views. Some of you may say he is neoliberal because of his support for the TPP, but I would point out here that a properly constructed trade agreement protecting labor is not necessarily neoliberal, but can be rather a way to stimulate economic activity in general.
It is not just the Democrats that are tied to that train track. We are all in trouble here. The internal Democratic party turmoil is not as bad as pictured, this isn’t some TEA party movement tearing the party apart. No one seems to want to talk about the Republican Congress who tied the populace to those tracks in the first place, or the fact that they aren’t there to help the country. The Democrats my argue over who or how to save the country, but at least they are trying.

Sounds like its time for a parliament? That way the nutwings on both sides can team up.

I think it’s time for a new Party that encompasses all those dissatisfied with the current choices, such as myself, like what happened in 1854.

Not to worry, lady. With our present infrastructure the trains stopped running a long time ago…
