Does the ‘R’ mean ‘rerun’, or ‘repeat’? TV pages in newspapers used to mark shows that way, to let you know that the show wasn’t new. (Our local paper no longer offers its own TV pages; you have to pay extra to get one included. Yet another of the many reasons why I don’t subscribe to the tiny font ‘newspaper’ with about two pages of news and 200 pages of ads…)
